Just a brief account of this very brief auroral display.   I only have just a few usable images from this experience.  I was made aware of the possibility of this aurora through a messaging service that I subscribe to through Spaceweather.com.  Not until local townspeople began calling me did I realize that this display was a big one.   I did not hardly have enough time to set up my equipment until it began to subside.  This display was prominently red in color.  I combined my images into a brief timelapse movie seen here on YouTube: Missouri Skies YouTube Aurora Movie
